in
my prime is an organisation for mature
people rethinking their lives.
It
is run by people who are wholeheartedly
enthusiastic about being in their
prime. Most of our friends and colleagues
are in this age group too, so we understand
only too well the many issues and challenges
that face individuals and couples at this
stage of their lives.
We
fervently believe that today, no one
between 50 and 70 can possibly be thought
of as old, ‘over the hill’ or ‘past
it’. We are passionate about convincing
society as a whole – including employers,
retailers, marketers, politicians, policy
makers, and other age groups – that
this is a dynamic sector of the population
with a huge number of strengths.
What we offer Our range of consultancy and training skills – in business, education, and personal development – and our pool of specialist associate advisors, provides us with a vast toolkit to draw from in a wide range of diverse fields.
However, we believe our biggest strength is our own passionate commitment to the cause of mature people and our understanding of the many opportunities and issues we face.

Who we are
Richard Ciechan:
I initially trained as an accountant before being headhunted to join Whitbread where I spent many years in Financial Management, HR and Training. In 1988 I moved out of industry into education where I taught Financial Management on postgraduate management courses.
Before setting up in my prime I developed a consultancy career in areas including Financial Management and Analysis, Performance and Change Management and Systems and Process management.
Dianne Bown-Wilson:
My background encompassed senior marketing and management roles within a range of public and private sector organisations. Then, in 2000, I set up my own consultancy business specialising in advising businesses on issues of marketing, management and motivation. Along the way I also trained as an executive coach.
Since then, as well as working with companies and individuals I have spoken at conferences and seminars, written numerous articles and co-authored a book, Marketing, Management & Motivation (published by the Law Society).
